Lungiarü, in Val Badia, is an ancient Ladin village inside the Puez-Odle Natural Park, recently recognized as "Mountaineers' Village" (Bergsteigerdorf), by the Austrian Alpine Club (OAV), in collaboration with the Alpine Convention and the Ministry of the Environment of Austria.

Its suggestive and lateral position as compared to the main valley, more populous and busy, has allowed it to preserve the authentic tradition.

Seres and Misci are among the most significant expressions of "Les Viles", the ancient settlements of Val Badia;  the "Valle dei Mulini", the culinary tradition,  are evidence of the subsistence economy that has always characterized the Ladin valleys and defended and spread its language, the Ladin, that during your holiday in Lungiarü you can learn.

There are numerous products made from local produce, which you can also try in our kitchen, while practices, customs, and traditions are clearly in evidence near religious or cultural events during the year.
